E.P Carrillo Short Run 2015 Cigars Now Available
Another limited edition cigar has been made available by a master of blends Ernesto Perez-Carrillo. The E.P Carrillo Short Run 2015 cigar was something dreamed up by Carrillo in the past, but has taken years to become a reality and its now available at Cuenca Cigars.
Every March, there is a limited edition cigar released in three sizes in the Short Run series. This year, the cigar comes in boxes of 24 and there will only be 1,500 boxes sold. To find out what you’re missing, read this Short Run Vencedores review.
Review of E.P Carrillo Short Run 2015 Vencedores
A medium to full-bodied cigar, the Short Run 2015 Vencedores has a unique Criollo 98 leaf wrapper from Jalapa. The wrapper is dark and it contrasts nicely with the bright band. This, combined with the lightness of the cigar, makes it appealing at first glance. Unlit, the cigar is earthy and has a coffee aroma.
Once lit, the Short Run 2015 cigar has strong cedar flavors. There are also nutmeg, cinnamon and licorice notes. A wood note is noticeable, and remains throughout the whole cigar. The flavor of nutmeg and cinnamon start to fade, until a flavor of dried apricot reveals itself. The flavors of this cigar are unique and very pleasant.

Introducing Montecristo Grupo De Maestros Private Batch – Montecristo Lounge Exclusive.
Altadis USA announces the release of Montecristo Grupo de Maestros Private Batch, a limited edition premium cigar made by Grupo de Maestros.
For years, Grupo de Maestros have been making their own private blend of Montecristo cigars from a special combination of tobaccos. Now these cigars are available to the public, but only in extremely limited quantities.
Grupo de Maestros is an elite brotherhood of master blenders and cigar makers. Combined, the Maestros bring with them over 200 years of experience and have united to create a rarefied experience for cigar enthusiasts worldwide.
The wrapper is Ecuadorian Sumatra, a deeply colored, rich wrapper that burns well with a full-bodied and spicy taste. The binder is Dominican Olor 2010 Villa Gonzalez Crop, notable for its slightly natural sweetness. The filler is a blend of Criollo ’98, a dark, heavy bodied tobacco, noted for its strength and robust taste, and Corojo ’99, wonderfully aromatic tobacco well known for burning well and uniform white ash.
These exclusive Grupo de Maestro cigars are available in Toro (54 X 6). They are priced at around $15 each and come in 100-count boxes. The 250 specially made and numbered original cedar boxes each arrive with their own certificate of authenticity. After aging, the cedar shelves were taken down and made into trunk boxes while preserving the natural wear, giving each box unique character.
