Drew Estate took on a new client with Royal Gold Cigars and created the Nirvana cigar line for them. The cigar is something new for Drew Estate; they don’t usually take on clients.

The cigar is also new territory for Drew Estate- they have never used a Cameroon wrapper before. The Nirvana cigar has an African Cameroon wrapper paired with a rich blend. The fillers are from the Nicaraguan Esteli and Jalapa regions, and the binder is a Mexican San Andres Negra. The Rosado wrapper combines with the Nicaraguan tobacco to create a sweet and spicy full-bodied cigar.

The Nirvana cigar is made in Drew Estate’s factory in Estlei- La Gran Fabrica. All of the cigars are made by experienced and loyal cigar rollers. This keeps the quality of the cigar at the highest level.

Nica Rustica Cigar Showcases The Best Of Esteli

Drew Estate has gone to some serious lengths to create a cigar that showcases the best of Esteli, Nicaragua. The Nica Rustica cigar debuted at the 2013 IPCPR with one goal in mind: to show what Esteli has to offer.

Available in only one size, a 6×52, the Nica Rustica cigar is something special. It features a binder from Mexico (a San Andres Negro) and filler tobacco from both Jalapa, Nicaragua and Esteli, Nicaragua. It looks similar to the Drew Estate’s Liga Privada, but where the Liga Privada had a Connecticut Darks Broadleaf wrapper, the Nica Rustica cigar uses a Connecticut Broadleaf Mediums wrapper.

This difference in wrappers may seem inconsequential, but it has a big impact on flavor. In fact, Drew Estate has gone through the trouble of buying tobacco plants in Connecticut just to make sure the mediums and darks are sorted properly.

This addition will please shade leaf wrapper fans; the Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut features a shade leaf wrapper.

The Montecristo White Vintage Connecticut cigar is different from many other Montecristo White cigars in its Connecticut shade leaf wrapper from the Connecticut River Valley. The wrapper comes only from a 2008 harvest.

Produced in the Dominican Republic at the same factory where most Montecristo cigars are made, the Tabacalera de Garcia factory, this cigar is of high quality. It uses a binder from Nicaragua combined with fillers from Peru, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic.
