Rocky_Patel_Prohibition_San_Andres_Toro_Cigars_-_Jar_of_16Rocky Patel Prohibition cigars may have been launched at the 2014 IPCPR, but they resemble something from almost 100 years ago. When alcohol was outlawed in the US during Prohibition, people took matters into their own hands. They started making moonshine, a potent liquor sold in jars.

Rocky Patel Prohibition cigars are packaged the same way. Cigars are packaged in decorated jars, which are loaded onto a crate. It looks like something you would have seen during Prohibition, and the cigar is so good that it should be illegal.

Half of the cigars in a Rocky Patel Prohibition crate have a sweet San Andres wrapper. These cigars received a Cigar Aficionado rating of 91. The other half has a bold Broadleaf Maduro wrapper from Connecticut. All of the cigars feature a Nicaraguan binder and a Nicaraguan filler, grown at Patel’s very own farms in the regions of Esteli and Jalapa. Produced in the Tavicusa factory in Nicaragua, the cigars is of premium quality.
