Flor de Las Antillas cigars, launched by My Father Cigars in May of 2012, are the company’s first line of cigars to be completely box-pressed. Since their release, the cigars have been a major success. It even won a “Number One Cigar of the Year” honor. Other accomplishments include a score of the 96 points and eight ratings above 90. It shouldn’t be a shock that My Father has recently continued to improve the line by adding a new size.
This new size, Toro Grande, was launched at the 2015 IPCPR trade show. The 6 x 60 box-pressed cigar is one of five sizes available in Flor de Las Antillas.
The name of these cigars says a lot. The cigar is named after Cuba, the largest island in the chain of islands known as the Greater Antilles Islands. This is the Garcia family’s birthplace, home of a rich history of cigar making. Flor de Las Antillas is constructed with excellent quality and packed with flavor to make it represent its namesake.
Most of the cigars produced by My Father Cigars are full-bodied, but Flor de Las Antillas is not. This medium-bodied cigar has a rich Sun Grown Nicaraguan wrapper. Inside, the cigar has Cuban seed long-fillers from Nicaragua and a Nicaraguan binder. It’s smooth, balanced and more flavorful than you could imagine.
For the best online prices, you can buy Flor de Las Antillas in Toro Grande from Cuenca Cigars. You can also try it in Belicoso, Robusto, Toro or Toro Gordo.
